Tackling stereotypes

We’ve worked with groups of young people on our ‘Here I Am’ project to tackle stereotypes.

We’ve asked groups of young people to make videos talking about their experiences which can be used as part of the lesson plan in our resource.

Watch the videos, and then create something of your own which represents or celebrates your identity.

You can either work as individuals or as a group or class to do this.

You can be as creative as you like.

There are some ideas in the resource which could help you.

We are aware that our videos below only show the identities of some groups of young people.

So we hope that we will be able to celebrate the identities of lots of different children and young people across Wales. Some of you may have several things you consider part of your identity and you may wish to represent them all in whatever you create.
