Important – Possible delay in hard copy mail reaching our officers
There might be a slight delay in hard copy mail reaching our officers due to Covid-19 restrictions. If your message is urgent, we’d encourage you to call or email us. Also, please note that we are not an emergency service. If you have a concern about the safety of a child or children, please contact the police or your local social services department.
You should expect a high standard of service from us. If you are unhappy with how we have responded to you please discuss with the member of our staff you have been in touch with, if you feel able to do so. If you prefer, you can ask to speak with the officer’s line manager. You should expect to be able to speak directly to a manager or another member of our management team within 5 working days.
If you have taken these steps and wish to make a formal complaint please email: email@example.com and ask for a copy of our current complaints procedure.
Please note that our procedure covers complaints about the standard of service received from the office of the Children’s Commissioner for Wales and does not cover complaints about a policy decision or public position taken by the Commissioner.
We are currently reviewing our complaints procedure to make it as accessible as possible. We will have a revised version online as soon as we can.
