We chose the glorious backdrop of Llyn Tegid, the home of Gwersyll yr Urdd Glan Llyn, as the venue for our first North Wales event for care leavers.
The young people present spent the morning sharing tales and experiences, expressing their views on the care system, getting to know each other and meeting the Children’s Commissioner.
After lunch the group took to the high ropes, the bowling alley and the lake itself for an afternoon of teamwork, fun and exhilaration!
All in all, it was a fantastic day. Thanks North Wales!
