May 2025 - Elections in Wales (May 2026)

What do you already know about politics and the election?​Have you ever seen or heard information from political parties and what did you think of it?​What do you know about the Senedd and the people who are in charge of Wales now?

April 2025 - World Health Day

April’s Monthly Matter is about World Health Day and we'd like to know more about how you look after your teeth. How do you brush your teeth?​​ How often do you see the dentist?​ What do you eat and drink?

March 2025 - School Toilets

What are the rules in your school?​ How do you feel about using the toilets in your school?​ How would you describe your school toilets?

February 2025 - What's real and what's fake online?

How do you know what’s real and what’s not online?​ Have you ever believed something you saw online that turned out to be fake? ​ What can you do to check if something is real or not?

January 2025 - Children and young people's homes

What sort of home do you live in?​ What do you like about your home and what would you change? ​ What makes a good home?

December 2024 - Human Rights Day

How would you like to learn more about your rights?

November 2024 - Helping the Environment

What do you and your family/carers already do? ​ What do your school/community groups do? Do you know what Welsh Government are doing to help the environment?

October 2024 – Smartphones in school

Do you have a smartphone? Do you take it to school? Do you think schools should have more rules about using smart phones? October's Monthly Matter is about smartphones in schools. 

September 2024 - Food and Energy Drinks

Do you think where sugary, salty, or fatty food is displayed in a shop makes a difference to whether you buy them or not? Do you think energy drinks should be sold to children under 16?

July/August 2024 – Summer Holidays

What do you like to do in your local area when you’re not in school over the summer holidays? Do you think there's enough to do in your area? Is there anything that stops you from being able to do the things you enjoy?

June 2024 - Online Safety

What apps do you use online? Do you feel safe when using these apps? Do you know how to report something online?

May 2024 - Play/Break Time

Do you enjoy play/break time? Why? Is it important? Do you ever have to miss play/break time? What would make play/break time better?

April 2024 - Travelling to school

What's your journey to school like? Do you enjoy it? Does anything make it difficult?

March 2024 - School Dinners: What are they like?

What do you enjoy about school dinner? What would you change to make them better? Our monthly matter for March is about school dinners.

February 2024 - What would you do if you were in charge of Wales?

Our monthly matter for February is about Wales getting a new First Minister and what would you do if you were in charge of Wales.

January 2024- School Calendar

Our monthly matter for January is the school calendar, and Welsh Government’s proposals to amend school term dates.
